Redveil
A downloadable dream for Windows
“The mushrooms keep us safe. Some of them soak up the poisons. Others keep us fed. The rest help us speak with the woods.”
Lifetimes into the future, the sun has set on the world. Humans scavenge under the eternal dusk, pecking at the treasures of the old world like vultures. You’re just a kid with a hole in your belly and you need to find some mushrooms for dinner. If only it were that simple.
Features:
- Explore a beautifully unsettling world with two dozen species of mushroom to collect
- Talk to NPCs, both friendly and hostile, and try to learn more about the world
- Befriend a spirit butterfly and a prismatic luna moth ;)
- Try to find all mushroom species and secrets!
Disclaimer:
This game is meant to help you identify mushrooms in the far future, in the dreamy twilight of tomorrows unknown. It is NOT a reference for finding mushrooms in the real world. Some wild mushrooms can kill you, and many can just make you plain sick. Don’t eat wild mushrooms unless you know what you’re doing, and even if you know what you’re doing, be careful.

This game is so much fun! The environment is spooky and fun to explore with lots of little hidden secrets (including a bat!!). The goal of the game is cute, but don't be fooled, there are some jump scares in here, so don't play while eating cereal unless you want to risk spilling it all over yourself in fright!
this game is awesome! the world building is perfect and the message that i seemed to gather from it was really nice too. loved the feeling of exploration in redveil.
