A downloadable game for Windows

A short game about brushing your teeth.

CW: This is a game about what depression feels like for me; as a result, it contains some disturbing imagery and implications of self-harm and suicide. It also contains some flashing lights which may be dangerous for photosensitive players.

Controls: Mostly mouse, a few prompted keyboard inputs as well. Press F12 to take a screenshot. If the window isn’t scaled right, press F to auto-resize the window to fit the desktop (may be buggy).

Hi Lena. I'm trying to to play your game, but I can't figure out how to make the window scale properly, as pressing F does nothing. I'm on a laptop with 1366x768 resolution.

Hmm, I'm not sure what could help--are you able to resize the Godot window? I really should get around to adding more support for window scaling. I'll probably do that in the next couple days and put out a message for it. In any case thank you for checking it out!

I'm unable to resize the window manually even though the borders are visible. I'll see if it looks right on my TV, but nevertheless it would be great if you could add support for resolutions lower than 1080p.

Just added support for multiple resolutions in version 1.4! Let me know if you have any issues with that, and thanks again for playing!

That's great news! I was able to play it just fine on my TV, but this is the kind of game I prefer to experience on a laptop, so I played it again. I noticed a journal on the bed that I didn't see in the previous version and I was apprehensive about opening it. Is it a new addition? Anyway, as someone who recently had a wisdom tooth extraction and went through an excruciatingly painful healing process that was both physically and mentally exhausting, I found your game to be quite interesting, intimate and affecting, so nice work on that! Also, if you don't mind me asking, would you be interested in having it localized in Brazilian Portuguese? I even translated one of the sample screens to make sure I'm serious about it and am willing to show you if you're interested.

Thank you! The journal is a new addition, and I'm glad you liked the game. I am interested in a Brazilian Portuguese localization, and I'd love to see the sample screen!

A beautiful game that is comforting in its disquieting familiarity.

Wise words, ol buddy ol pal!

Really interesting game. The atmosphere ir very tense.

Thank you for checking it out!

I couldn't figure out how to quit the game. Is there an end (or a score)? After 5 minutes, I hit ctl-alt-del and killed the Godot process. Thanks for your creativity! It is an interesting game.

It does have an ending when you go to bed and it brings you back to the main menu where you can close the game, but it is a little ambiguous. Thank you for checking out the game!

Very intriguing game. I really liked the style.

Thanks for playing!

I love the atmosphere of this — it looks really good (i.e. unsettling)!
