The year is 2003. As the Iraq War erupts, global powers spiral into a brutal chemical arms race that quickly escalates into the Third World War. But this war isn’t fought with bullets and bombs--its deadliest weapon is hellebore, a toxic gas that lingers in the air, dissolving people into bloodied corpses in mere minutes.

As the war starts with a bang and quickly ends with a whimper, you rush across the country to find your mother, hospitalized just before the outbreak. But by the time you reach her, chemical warfare has wrecked the landscape and done something even more sinister to the people.
